Step-by-Step Guide
01

Open Data Manager Start Here

Navigate to Data Manager from the bottom navigation. This is where all your market data lives. You must download data before you can analyse any chart.

Data Manager supports multiple exchanges and asset classes — Stocks, Crypto, Forex, and Indices. Pick the right exchange for your asset.
02

Choose the Data You Want

Select your Exchange, Asset Type, and Timeframe (e.g. 1D, 1H, 15M). Then pick the date range for the historical data you need.

Longer date ranges take more time to download. For quick tests, start with 6–12 months. For robust backtests, use 2–5 years of data.
03

Select Symbol & Click Download

Type or search for your symbol (e.g. BTCUSDT, NIFTY50, RELIANCE). Hit Download and wait for the data to be saved locally.

A green success indicator will appear once download completes. Your data is ready — no internet needed for backtesting.
04

Click "Analyse Chart" Key Step

After downloading, tap the Analyse Chart button next to your symbol. The chart loads instantly with full candlestick data, volume, and overlays.

Use the toolbar to add indicators like EMA, RSI, MACD, Bollinger Bands. Zoom and scroll through price history.
05

Run Backtest & View Results

Set your entry/exit conditions, position size, and risk parameters. Hit Run Backtest. Results including P&L, win rate, drawdown, and trade log appear in Analytics.

Happy with your results? Share your strategy to the Leaderboard and compare with other traders.
