Line & Area Styles
Guide to line plots, area fills, and baseline delta layouts.
Line Chart
Description: Draws a continuous line series connecting the closing prices of each session.
Simplifying complex trends by filtering out intraday wicks.
Select 'Line' from the top toolbar chart styles menu.
Line with Markers
Description: Renders a standard close line chart with dot markers highlighting individual session coordinates.
Easily identifying exact closing coordinates on a simplified line view.
Select 'Line with markers' from the chart styles menu.
Step Line
Description: Connects closing prices using horizontal and vertical step lines rather than straight diagonals.
Visualizing price levels and supports in a step-by-step layout.
Select 'Step line' from the chart styles menu.
Area Chart
Description: Draws a line chart filled underneath with a semi-transparent color gradient.
Highlighting macro price levels and cumulative trend movements.
Select 'Area' from the chart styles menu.
HLC Area
Description: Plots an area chart bounded by high, low, and close values with gradient shading.
Viewing volatility bands and average pricing at a glance.
Select 'HLC area' from the chart styles menu.
Baseline
Description: Divides the chart using a horizontal baseline. Fills green for price above the line, and red for price below.
Tracking price relative to a custom baseline (e.g. daily open or key pivot).
Select 'Baseline' from the chart styles menu, and drag the baseline handle up or down.
