Timeframe & Resolution Settings
Guide to using standard intervals, configuring custom resolutions, and scripting timeframes.
Predefined Timeframes
Description: The charting library supports standard resolution intervals out-of-the-box (e.g., 1s, 5s, 1m, 3m, 5m, 15m, 30m, 1h, 2h, 4h, 1D, 1W, 1M).
Quick switching between scalp, day trading, swing, and macro analysis charts.
Select timeframes from the top toolbar resolution switcher dropdown, or use hotkeys (e.g. type '15' and press Enter).
Custom Interval Creation
Description: Allows users to add personalized resolution timeframes (e.g., 2m, 7m, 12h, 3D, 2W) by typing the multiplier and choosing a unit in the popup.
Configuring custom bar compressions for specialized quantitative trading strategies.
Click 'Add Custom Interval' at the bottom of the interval selection popup, input the multiplier value and unit, and click Add.
