Geometric Shapes
Guide to drawing bounding rectangles, ellipse bands, custom curves, and brush freehand sketches.
Rectangle
Description: Draws a 4-point rectangle shape to highlight zones.
Marking consolidation ranges, supply/demand blocks, or session highs.
Click top-left, drag to bottom-right, and click to lock.
Rotated Rectangle
Description: Draws a rectangle that can be angled diagonally relative to the price scale.
Outlining diagonal consolidation channels or flag patterns.
Click point 1 and 2 to set the diagonal angle, then drag and click point 3 to set thickness.
Circle
Description: Draws a perfect circle centered at an origin coordinate.
Highlighting clusters of pivots or key market events.
Click the center point, drag outward, and click to lock the radius.
Ellipse
Description: Draws an oval shape defined by width and height bounding boxes.
Outlining cyclical patterns or price-time support zones.
Click point 1 (origin), drag and set width/height, and click to place.
Triangle Shape
Description: Draws a 3-sided polygon shape.
Highlighting ascending/descending/symmetrical triangle formations.
Click point 1, click point 2, and click point 3 to close the triangle.
Polyline
Description: Draws connected segments of lines continuously.
Outlining custom paths, complex waves, or irregular price zones.
Click sequentially to add points. Double-click to terminate the path.
Path
Description: Draws custom paths combining curves and straight segments.
Tracking complex wave movements or custom patterns.
Click points sequentially to build the path. Double click to finish.
Curve
Description: Plots a single-arc Bezier curve between points.
Drawing rounded bottoms/tops or parabolic trends.
Click start point, drag to end point, click to set anchor, then drag to adjust the curve height.
Double Curve
Description: Plots a S-curve segment containing two distinct curve inflections.
Mapping wave transitions or trend reversals.
Click starting and ending points, then drag to set the two curve handles.
Brush
Description: Enables freehand drawing on the chart canvas.
Circling patterns, drawing arrows, or making handwritten annotations.
Click and hold, then drag mouse/finger to sketch freehand path. Release to finalize.
Sector
Description: Draws a pie sector slice defined by angles and radius.
Tracking circular cycles and time segments.
Click center point, drag to set radius, then drag to set sector angle and click.
Arc
Description: Draws a circular arc segment.
Marking parabolic curves or cyclical price bounds.
Click origin, set radius, then drag to set arc segment and click.
